I LOVE Britain :)

Well, everyone always moans about Britain..'It's too cold' , 'The weathers crap' , 'There's nothing to do' etc etc, you get my point. Well, truth be told I actually LOVE Britain, it's got originality, and tbh I don't like hot weather as I get very mardy therefore 'British weather' suits me perfectly. :) It's also got some word-known landmarks such as Big Ben, and Buckingham Palace.

1) The music! (L) Some AMAZING music comes from the UK. Take note.. Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Kasabian, Leona Lewis, Calvin Harris, Pixxie Lott, Little Boots, Alexandra Burke, Girls Aloud, Lily Allen, Duffy and LOADS more all came from Britain.

2) The Fashion! (L) London's Fashion Week is truely IMMENSE! (L) I love fashion and I personally think British fashion is one of the best around. Yeah, Italian/French/American is always amazing too, but I always find that Britsh fashion has an edge to it, it makes it it's own, and stands out far more than others.

3) The WEATHER! It's probably one of the most inpredictable weather systems in the world [Can you tell I did Geog for GCSE? ;)] but it's a huge part of what Britain is. However, I do love our weather! I get to wear wellies one day, then the next the Gladiators are out with the shorts and crop top, compared to the day after when it's back to wellies and a thick coat/hoodie all over again!

4) British food! (L) Yeah, my favourite food of all time is curry and pasta [Obviously not together, lol!] However, I think British food, such as a good Sunday dinner, and Fish n' Chips is what put Britain on the map. Fish n' chips, on the beach at 11pm at night, watching the sunset and laying on the beach, I LOVE IT!
Fab chefs such as Gordan Ramsey and Jamie Oliver all came from England, and they do very very very tasty dishes!

5) BRITISH BOYS! (L) Phwroahhh! It's something about a typical British boy that I somehow love! ALOT of boys are Indie looking, and that teamed with brown hair, a tall height, and an athletic build, oh and either a Liverpudlian or London accent..that is a description of my perfect British boy! Course, I never get one..but I can dream! :) haha!

Please tell me your favourite parts about where you live! :)

Soap and Glory! :)

I've been meaning to write this for ages, but I absolutely LOVE Soap and Glory. Yeah.. it is kinda expensive, and in this economy at the moment, it aint good, but the money paid is money well spent! It gives great results on everything I've tried, so it is very much well recommended by me!
These are my top 2 bestbuys from Soap and Glory:

Soap and Glory - Flake Away body scrub.
I LOVE THIS! It smells gorgeous, and it really does leave your skin so smooth it is untrue! It's £6.36, but if you buy it at Boots you get 24 points! And all those points add up! :) Deffo a recommend!
Soap and Glory - Dr Spot Invisible Spot Fighting Gel.
This gel is AMAZING! It smells nice, and it also soaks into your skin within a couple of minutes, so if you're going to bed then you don't get gel all over your covers etc. It is also great for wearing in the day under some makeup, or if you're brave enough [unlike me!] to go barefaced. It's £6.88, and worth 24 points at Boots. I've had the same bottle for about a month now, and I haven't used it all yet, eventhough I've used it more or less everyday to tame the spots! It's a great recommendation, and I will deffo be buying some more soon!

Banish the straightners for a while, the kinks are in ;)

Well, I've decided that I'm going to stop using straightners for a month, to help my hair and give it a healthy glow instead of it being frazzled every two days when I would usually straighten it. Instead of straightening I've opted to having a shower at night and while my hair is still sopping wet, french plaiting it in either 2 french plaits of 4 if you want it extra curly. I sleep in them over night, and in the morning they're dry and still smell of my lovely shampoo [Lee Strafford Poker Straight is the one I'm using at the moment, I love it! Recommend it alot!] Before you undo the plaits spray hairspray on your hair as it helps the curls stay in longer (Kate aka toothpoastekisses, told me this! :) ] Leave a few minutes, and then undo the plaits. Finishing with a spray on hairspray and I also use Lee Strafford humidiffier, leave it quite messy and put a headband on your forehead and you're ready to go!

Top 5 tunes I can't stop listening to at the moment.

Well, I like music ALOT. I listen to it everyday and it usually cheers me up when I have those downer days. I find music really interesting. It tells a story, but it is hidden between lines and lines of rhythm and words, often that don't make sense, but mix well to become an amazing song! It's also a passion mixed with my dancing. If I hear music I instantly start dancing and thinking up new routines in my head..it's a little embarassing sometimes. haha! Anyway..on to my Top 5..

Kasabian - where did all the love go?
I love this song. I like Kasabian anyway, but I hadn't really kept up to date with their music for a while. It was only when I looked on my friends facebook I saw she'd listened to it. From then on, I've not stopped. :)

John Denver - Annies Song.
Well, it's the start of the footballing season and this is the big song sang at Brammal Lane. It means alot, and reminds me of loads of footballing memories.

Beyonce - Sweet Dreams.
I really like the beats in this, it's quite an easy song to think of some dance choreography too and Beyonce is AMAZING!

Kasabian - Underdog
LOVE this song!! I don't know what it is about it, but it's just catchy and fabulous!! It certainly helped my two hour journey in the car the otherday, which I was very grateful :)

Mr Hudson, Kanye West - Supernova
I really like this tune. It is easy to dance to, a lot of beats and sharp edges but with a smoothness all around the song. Which won't really make sense to anyone reading this, but it does to me. Hahaa!

So yeah, I do have a random music taste. Just now Hushabye Mountain from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has just come up as my next played song, I love it! Then next I have Dizzee Rascal - Flex. haha, so yeah..I have random taste in music, but I luurvee it! I'd rather liek loads and have variety than be stuck with the same type all day long, 24/7.

Pros and Cons of being an Avon Rep :)

Well I am an Avon Representitive. Tbh it has many pros and alot of cons too, but on the whole I do like it! :)
Pros:
- If you have the right customers, and many of them you get quite abit of dosh from the profits :)
- You meet loads of your neighbours, which can lead to new propositions in life. New friendships, the odd romance hopefully and lots more!
- It's something good to put on your CV, it shows you can work well independently, meeting new people, working with money, ordering items, and good time-management skills.
- It isn't too bad for time consuming like other things are. On the whole in an average week it takes me maximum an hour per time I go out and do it, I usually do it twice a week, and when the order is due in I usually go 3/4 times a week, however by that time only a few of the catalgues are still needed to be collected. Therefore it takes around 10 minutes, depending on where abouts on my road the customer lives, and if they talk to me for a long time!
- You find out alot of the gossip from the road, by the old pensioners who seem to know EVERYTHING!! haha!
- It is also good for exersise..walking up and down your road (Or designated road nearby,) a few times a week a couple of times, does wonders for those bums, tums and thighs :)
Cons:
- Sometimes the customers are really snobby, and look down on you or get really really mardy if their product they ordered is out of stock. Jeeeesh, it's bad! haha!
- When it is cold, and pissing it down and you have ten thousand bags to carry and knock on about a million doors you don't see the point..cos you nearly die from peaumonia.
- When the customers don't leave their brochure outside when you ask them too. (Politely of course) Then are really rude when you go back a few days later and they asked why didn't you collect it on sucha day, and you say 'I called but no one was in' then they blame it on you as if it is your fault that they weren't in!
- It can sometimes get really time consuming, especially the day when the delivery comes, but I suppose getting all the money cancels out this con! :)
...another one which is kinda annoying - I ALWAYS get pervy delivery men! Except for once, when I got the ultimate HOTTIE..but that is another post! :)
On the whole though, the pros outweigh the cons and it's a good way to make some money!
Lucy Reccomends!! :)

5 Random Facts about me :)

Since this is my first blog, I thought a little bit of an introduction was needed :)

..Eine:
I go dancing regularly at June Fletchers, atleast 2 times a week from the tender age of around 5 - however I did go when I was around two, but decided I didn't like it..just yet! I do ballet, tap, modern, jazz, street, acro and I do a little bit of teaching sometimes. I also do pointe work. (Which absolutely kills your feet, but looks amazing when it is done properly!)

..Zwei:
I have one foot (my..right foot) which is unusually bigger than my left foot. By about half an inch!! :O

..Drei:
My favorite sandwiches are...Cheese and Marmite!! Yummy! I highly recommend. Although you do either 'love it, or hate it' ;]

..Vier:
I count Heat Magazine as my bible! :) ..love it!!

..Funf:
I know this is going to sound really boring, but another random fact is that I am ALWAYS (Okay, somedays I'm not, but generally I am..) smiling, and mostly happy with things. Yes I enjoy a good bitch, but doesn't anyone? I never intend to inflict harm, or hurt upon anyone, and would never do so in the future. Yes I enjoy a good cry, it's good for your health I think..sometimes you can't just keep things bottled up, and I've realised this in the last few months.

....sorry for sounding really REALLY morbid on fact 5..I'm new to this blog business :)
